The Rural Water Supply Data Base is a nation-wide Computer-Aided Information System which is not only using tabular data but provides also detailed thematic mapping.
- The initial maps had been prepared from freely available data of an accuracy 1:1,000,000.
- The digital terrain model had been prepared from freely available GTOPO30 data (30 arc-seconds resolution).
- Later, village locations, district and regional boundaries were updated from scanned and geo-referenced regional map of accuracy 1:250,000.

In the RWSD database, the following problems may occur with geographic data:
Please forward any such problems into this bug report (as well as any other errors not included in the decribed above descriptions).
Even if you are not logged-in as a registered user, you can always make a comment.
- Data are on the server but do not show correctly in your browser. This would be either a server, a data transfer or a browser error.
- Data on the server are wrong or outdated (i.e. wrong location, wrong delineation of boundaries, wrong names).
